About Me...Jey Young
Hey! I’m Jey, a mental health clinician with a master’s degree in Developmental Psychology. I’m passionate about helping people through life’s challenges, and I love witnessing the growth and progress that individuals and families can make when they have the right support. My goal is to make a lasting impact so that the families and youth I work with can look back at our time together as a turning point in their lives.

In addition to my clinical work, I’m the host of the Young Dad Podcast, where I share stories, insights, and real conversations about fatherhood, mental health, and community. The podcast has also spun off into two exciting projects—Patriarchy Principles, where we dive into political and cultural issues through a fatherhood lens, and Bi-Racial Broadcast, which explores the experiences of biracial individuals in a fun and insightful way.

Outside of work, I’m grounded by my family—my wife, two kids, two dogs, and a cat. Family time keeps me balanced, and when I’m not working, you’ll often find me working out, taking cold plunges, playing baseball, or serving at church through the AWANA program. After a long day, I enjoy unwinding by podcasting or relaxing with my wife, watching a show together.

In 5-10 years, I see myself continuing to work in the mental health field, always adapting to whatever role is needed at the time. I want to leave a legacy for my kids built on love, confidence, and responsibility, and I hope to be that person who made a difference in someone’s healing journey. I’m passionate about fatherhood, men’s mental health, and helping the next generation grow into successful, kind adults.
